This set of four lithographs which Picture has just framed will be on display this week at the London Original Print Fair at the Royal Academy with Jennings Fine Art (Stand 30).

  • Horse Dealers (Ward’s Repository No.1), 1919
  • The Horse Mart (Barbican No.1), 1920
  • Horse Dealers at the Barbican (Barbican No.2), 1921
  • Sale at Ward’s Repository (Ward’s No.2), 1921

Four lithographs, all with the artist’s monogram lower right.

A complete set of the artist’s most celebrated prints.

Picture has framed them in an oak profile, handfinished with a mahogany stain and clear wax finish.
The lithographs have been laid onto museum board and mounted under Bainbridge Alpharag Artcare board which is 100% cotton and utilises micro chamber technology to filter out harmful pollutants.
The glazing is True Vue Museum glass which has a low reflect optical coating with less than 1% light reflection, and a conservation grade UV coating that blocks 99% of UV light.

Their large scale, the subtle use of tone and their austere beauty make them among the most important prints of their time. (Gordon Cooke)
