Bridget spent most of her adult life writing animation scripts for children before becoming interested in textiles, most specifically the ancient craft of weaving. Bringing together a range of materials including paper, grass, and feathers, she creates unique, one-off pieces. With no starting-point, or intention, she lets the weave develop freely, thereby fostering a sense of spontaneity and allowing for the unexpected. She draws inspiration from natural forms as well as the textural quality of surfaces and pattern.
