George Morgan (UK, b.1987) is primarily a painter working abstractly in oil on gesso panel and found substrates. Recently he has been exploring ideas through monotype; he enjoys the immediacy and air of unpredictability about this process. George’s work explores themes including trauma, isolation, love and loss. He graduated from Falmouth College of Art, Cornwall in 2008 with a BA(Hons) in Fine Art and has done 3 solo exhibitions, numerous group shows and 3 European artist residencies.
