Working across mediums, Bonnie Gibbons’s playful work explores surface, pattern and light. Originally trained as a knitwear designer, texture and layers are integral to her handwriting. From a van shaped studio, she works from life, absorbing her surroundings. For Bonnie art is about hope and chaos – often optimistic, sometimes uneasy.

 

Bonnie Gibbons has exhibited art in London, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. As a designer, she has created textiles that have been exhibited and sold in the US & Europe.
