Ankita.K.Patel (b. 1986) is an instinctive wilderness artist from Mumbai (urban jungle), Maharashtra, India. Her medium is mostly pen and paper with occasional appearance of cool water color tints and tones of green and blue. Her illustration include detailed intricate patterns and textures, layered organically to represent the natural world.

As an eco – textile designer and doodle artist her obsession for everything nature blossomed going through various classical Indian textile books, dance forms, mythological short stories, Indian folk crafts and stories recited by her parents from their childhood of lush green farms with all its beautiful beings.
