Emily Coulson is a printmaker based in South West London. Predominately working in woodcut, Emily’s work explores the exaggeration of movement in everyday scenes, objects and figures. Her process involves creating an initial carving that considers subject and composition, printed as a monochrome image. Often this key block will then become the basis of another print, where experimental layers of colour, texture and pattern are added.
Emily graduated in 2021 from Norwich University of the Arts with a BA Hons in Illustration.
