I am a garden designer by profession, but I started painting about twelve years ago as a therapy for anxiety, and enjoyed the process so much that it has now become the most rewarding part of my life. I experiment with different styles, painting in various media on canvas, board, paper and wood . I also make collage pictures, using many different types of paper that I have previously painted. This produces varying effects with the texture and colour intensity of the cut-out pieces and I love the random and serendipitous nature of this creative process.
