Bespoke Picture Framing Consultant
This is a full time permanent position, i.e. 5 days a week, Tuesdays to Saturdays, in our West London picture-framing gallery.
Job Description
The job consists in serving our retail and trade clients in the gallery and fulfilling their framing requirements. You will be required to manage your orders through production and delivery to client.
The successful candidate must have excellent technical knowledge across all aspects of the framing process, including the mounting and display of art works and all aspects of conservation level frame making, including all speciality glazing products currently available.
We require a minimum of 3 years experience working either as a frame maker in a studio setting or as a bespoke framing consultant in a retail gallery setting.
Applicants must have excellent industry knowledge across all major mount board, moulding and glass suppliers. You will be working as part of a small sales team and will need to be self motivated with excellent communication and Maths skills.
We also require good IT knowledge of the entire Microsoft package as well as proficiency with all social media in a work environment.
Package
The basic salary offered is £24000 per annum + monthly sales bonus.
We will offer basic annual leave entitlement (i.e. 4 weeks per annum + all bank holidays) and sick pay.
